Miami Radio: Grace Blazer New PD At WIOD, WINZ

It’s Winter and it’s February, so a move from Boston to Miami sounds appealing for many, including Grace Blazer.  She’s just been named new PD for CCM+E’s NewsRadio WIOD 610 AM/ 100.3 FM Translator and Sports Animal WINZ 940 AM.

She’ll also oversee digital operations for both stations.

The change for the veteran programmer is effective immediately. For the last five years she’s been PD for Greater Media’s WTKK 96.5 FM, which dropped Talk at the end of 2012. Previously, she was PD for 11 years at the Big Talker WPHT 1210 in Philadelphia.

She fills the position last held by Ken Charles, who Clear Channel transferred to its Sacramento cluster in December.
