New York:   The radio industry continues to closely watch the performance of Cumulus’ WNSH Nash 94.7 FM.  While the Country station's share remains steady 1.6 – 1.8 – 1.8;  NashFM grew 2.0 - 2.4 in 18-34 and inched up 2.6 - 2.7 in 12-24 in April, the station’s second complete month on the air.  25-54 NashFM  has an uptick 1.6 - 1.7.

On Long Island, Nash FM’s 6+ share rose 2.0 - 2.2  while 18-34 improved 2.6 - 3.3.

Big Apple Cume 6+ continues a steady upward course, now at 875,700, up from 857,700.  That’s been accomplished from dial-flipping, word-of-mouth and some billboards.  It will be interesting to see when CEO Lew Dickey springs for marketing.

Otherwise, the NYC market remains pretty stable, WLTW is still #1 6+.  Lite is down a bit 7.8 to 7.2.  So is CBS Radio’s WCBS 6.4 – 6.2, but still #2.  CC’s WHTZ Z100 continues its growth moving 5.1 – 5.6 – 6.0 for the past three months.

Arbitron also released April PPMs for Los Angeles, San Francisco and nine other markets. Click Here.

Special Note: Arbitron results omitted CBS Sports WFAN 660 AM/ 101.9 FM without explanation.  WFAN results were not included in Topline Results in NYC, Nassau and Middlesex markets.  They are expected to be released Tuesday.
