Chicago Radio: WGN Tests Show Targeting Young Adults

A new radio show is being tried out Saturday night on WGN720 AM.

According to Chicag Radio& Media, "RedEye Remix" is the radio version of the daily RedEye publication, covering topics as Chicago's nightlife, sports, pop culture, entertainment, and more.

The RedEye newspaper is published by the Chicago Tribune. The free, colorful publication is targeted towards 18-34 year old readers, which would normally not pick up a newspaper like the Chicago Tribune.
.
The two-hour show will air Saturday night/Sunday mornings at Midnight, hosted by the newly appointed General Manger of RedEye, Amy Guth.

Also since 2009, Guth has been a frequent contributor to WGN Radio, so she is no stranger to radio.

"RedEye Remix" can be heard tonight from Midnight-2:00am on AM 720, as well as being streamed via the station's website, the WGN Radio app, the iHeartRadio app, or the TuneIn app.
