Cincy Radio: Talk Host Pleads 'Not Guilty' In Shooting

Blake Seylhouwer
Bond was set at $250,000 Wednesday for Blake Seylhouwer, who hosts the talk show "Small Business Sunday" on WKRC 550 AM.

Seylhouwer is accused of shooting his 28-year-old wife, Misty, with a rifle during an argument. He claims it was an accident, according to cincinnati.com.

During a brief hearing, Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Tyrone Yates ordered Seylhouwer to stay away from his wife and two daughters, 4 and 13 months. Seylhouwer, 37, pleaded not guilty to charges of felonious assault and domestic violence.

Madeira police concluded he purposely took out his Savage 30-06 rifle out of his vehicle as the two argued in the driveway and either pointed it at his wife to scare her or fired it at her when she turned her back to walk away from an argument.

Chuck Fredrick, market manager for Clear Channel radio stations here, has not commented  about Seylhouwer and his relationship with WKRC-AM, or if Seylhouwer's brokered show "Small Business Sunday" will be broadcast 1-2 p.m. Sunday.
