Cumulus Names Jeff Davis To Direct Stratus Music Scheduling

Cumulus has announced that 26-year radio veteran Jeff Davis has been promoted to the newly created position of National Director of Stratus Music Scheduling.

Davis has been with Cumulus for over eight years as Program Director of heritage Hot AC/CHR hybrid WQSM in Fayetteville, NC. Jeff has also been Music Director for Cumulus’ Hot AC station KBBY in Ventura, CA. Davis has extensive knowledge of Cumulus’ proprietary Stratus Music Scheduling System, used at more than 450 radio stations in 89 markets across the U.S. He will continue to program WQSM for Cumulus.

Since joining Cumulus in 2006, Davis has worked with Emily Boldon, Corporate Program Director and Vice President, Stratus Music Programming, to develop and improve each Stratus upgrade as a Beta tester before they were rolled out to the company’s stations nationwide.

Boldon said: “Jeff Davis is a consummate programmer and professional. He is a progressive and innovative thinker and he asks incisive questions that allow us to continually improve our music scheduling platform for the benefit of our stations and listeners. In this new role, Jeff will be a huge asset to our Stratus Music team.”
