Felger & Massarotti
WBZ 98.5 FM The Sports Hub has announced that Mike Felger and Tony Massarotti have signed a multi-year contract extension to remain with Boston’s premier sports radio station.

The Felger and Massarotti show (“Felger & Mazz Show”) is broadcast weekday afternoons from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on 98.5 The Sports Hub and online at www.cbsbostonsports.com. In addition, Massarotti will write two columns per week for www.cbsboston.com and will host “The Baseball Reporters Show,” weeknights during the baseball season from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Felger and Massarotti launched their top-rated show on The Sports Hub when the station debuted in August 2009. Since then, Felger and Massarotti continue to be one of the highest rated shows in Boston. They have consistently been the #1 show in afternoon drive with Men 25-54 for almost 4 years and running. Most recently, Felger and Mazz were ranked the 6th best local sports show in America by Radio Ink Magazine.

“For more than five years, Mike and Tony have entertained Boston listeners and sports fans with their unique takes and their self-deprecating humor,” said Mark Hannon, SVP/Market Manager, CBS RADIO Boston. “We’re thrilled that they’ll continue to be an integral part of the Sports Hub while working in the greatest sports town in America for many years to come.”

“I’m thrilled to be continuing at 98.5 the Sports Hub,” Felger said. “I can’t believe it’s already been over five years. Hosting the show with Mazz just keeps getting better, a total blast. The fans here are the best in the world. They know what they’re talking about and are passionate about it. I’m grateful for their support and consider myself lucky to be working with the people I do and for the people I do.”

“I’m thrilled to be on the Sports Hub for years to come, and I have to thank our fans for making the ‘Felger & Mazz Show’ and the Sports Hub a winner,” Massarotti added. “There’s no doubt that this is the best sports town in the country, and every day I look forward to talking about what’s going on in sports and mixing it up on the air.”
