Detroit Radio: Nate Bell New O-M For Radio One Cluster

Raleigh-Durham, NC operations manager Nate Bell is packing for Detroit  as Radio One promotes him to Operations Manager for its four-station Motor City cluster.  The move is effectiber April 20.

Bell has been with the company since 2010.

Detroit general manager Kathy Stinehour calls Bell a “seasoned programmer” adding, “We look forward to Nate making his unique brand of magic here in the D.”

Before heading to Raleigh-Durham, Bell programmed iHeartMedia’s urban WMIB 103.5 FM /The Beat in Miami.

And he was director of urban programming for iHeart in New Orleans and programmed urban WWPR 105.1 FM, New York.

“I see significant untapped potential in all four Radio One properties in Detroit and am particularly excited to work with the new live and local morning shows launched last year,” Bell says in the announcement.  “Mason and Coco on Kiss 105.9 and the Morning Heat on Hot 107.5 are poised for greatness.”
