North Platte Radio: Personality Tony Lama Now On KNPQ

Tony Lama
Former Huskey Radio personality Tony Lama is back in the business at North Platte’s employee-owned Eagle Communications.

Lama is now hosting the  morning show on KNPQ Q Country 107.3 FM.

Lama hosted a country music morning show Husker radio’s Country KXNP 103.5 FM KX 104 for decades, but left the station last fall when the management changed.

In a statement released today, Eagle’s Regional Nebraska Manager, Jerome Gilg, said “Tony Lama will be a very welcome addition to the solid Q Country lineup, which includes Brother B, and Bobby Knight.”

Gilg stated that Lama had indicated it was time to get back on the radio airwaves, and that Q Country was able to add him to the talented lineup of on-air personalities.
