Little Rock Radio: Jeff Matthews Leaving Mornings At KURB

Little Rock radio personality Jeff Matthews has departed AC KURB 98.5 FM  for a PR position with Conway Corporation.

Matthews spent the last 14 years at B98.5 in Little Rock. Matthews’ last day at B98.5 will be this Friday.

Matthews worked at the radio station as morning show co-host with Lisa Fischer during the “Jeff and Lisa in the Morning” segment weekdays from 5-9 a.m., a title he held since August 2006.

“I am excited to begin a new challenge with Conway Corporation and look forward to being part of the team that tells the Conway Corp story in the community,” Matthews said.

In his coordinator role, Matthews will handle media inquiries, assist with press releases and lead development for public relations events and appearances.

“We are extremely pleased to have Jeff join our team,” said Crystal Kemp, manager of marketing and public relations with Conway Corporation. “He has been in Conway homes on the radio and with Wampus Cat sports for many years. We feel very fortunate to have him come on board in the area of public relations.”
