San Diego Radio: Politician Carl DeMaio Joins KOGO As Co-Host

DeMaio, Sullivan
News Radio KOGO 600 AM announced Wednesday that one of San Diego’s highest profile political leaders, Carl DeMaio, has joined the station.

DeMaio and veteran news talk host Bob "Sully" Sullivan will co-host DeMaio-Sullivan Report every weekday from 1-4pm beginning Thursday, April 2, 2015.

The DeMaio-Sullivan Report will focus on local news and issues and will combine investigative journalism with inside knowledge of politics and an eye on finding solutions.   The show will examine the stories behind the stories and how they affect San Diegans.

“We are thrilled to welcome Carl DeMaio to our lineup and I have no doubt that with his experience as a government watchdog and his inside knowledge of politics that this will be the most talked about show in San Diego,” stated Brian Long, Program Director for KOGO.

DeMaio served four years on the San Diego City Council and is credited with helping reform city finances during one of the most turbulent times in the city’s history.

“Our show will give San Diegans a vehicle to not just learn about important issues but to get involved in making a difference and advancing solutions,” DeMaio noted.
