SF Radio: Mike Anthony PD At KGO, KSFO

Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Mike Anthony as Program Director for KGO 810 AM and KSFO 560 AM.

Anthony was formerly General Manager of Empire Broadcastings KLIV in San Jose, and prior to that, was Senior Vice President, Programming, for Mapleton Communications in Monterey, CA, for 11 years, where he oversaw programming strategies and content for 41 radio stations and was also Market Manager for Mapleton’s five FM stations in Monterey.

He is also owner of ResearchWorks, a Palo Alto-based media research company, which he has operated for nearly 24 years.

Anthony has served as Chief Executive Officer of TunesFeed.org, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that uses music surveys as a mechanism to generate food donations while putting a spotlight on the problem of child hunger and food insecurity in communities.
