Chicago Radio: Shila Nathan To Exit WUSN

WUSN 99.5 FM PM Drive personality Shila Nathan has resigned.  Nathan told CBS Radio she is leaving at the end of next for a new unknown opportunity on the East Coast.

Chicagoland Radio&Media reports Nathan, has been a top-rated afternoon personality for WUSN-FM since her arrival in Chicago in April 2014.

CBS Radio Chicago announced the hiring of Nathan in April 2014. She took over the 3:00pm-7:00pm shift previously held for almost nine years by Drew Walker. The shift became vacant in January 2014 when Walker was promoted to middays, filling the void caused by Trish Biondo's exit in December 2013.

Before WUSN-FM, the 35-year-old Nathan was a part-time/fill-in host for a pair of stations in Scranton -- WKRZ-FM (Top 40) and WGGY-FM (Country) -- where she had worked for less than a year. Prior to that, Nathan worked full-time as a co-host of the morning show at WRDW-FM in Philadelphia.
