Leneta Glass, a long-time Lansing radio broadcaster known professionally by the name Jordan Lee, died Saturday.

She was 57, according to the Lansing State Journal.

Lee had worked since 1993 at Country WITL 100.7 FM most recently serving as assistant program director.

“You can’t overstate that she was the heart and soul of WITL,” says WITL brand manager and Townsquare Media operations manager Chris Tyler. “She truly was a person who loved the radio station and loved the listeners. She was a radio mom to a lot of people here at the radio station.”

Those who worked with Lee are remembering her today.

“She was a very sweet, honest and hard-working person,” said Andrea Kay Carfagno, who worked with Lee from 2001 to 2013. "I will always admire the passion she showed working on WITL. I will always miss Jordan's smile and calm soothing voice.”

Glass was born Sept. 28, 1958, in Canyon, Texas, and began broadcasting in 1983, according to Lee's WITL biography. The bio goes on to say she worked as news director at KMML in Amarillo, Texas, and was often a correspondent for the Associated Press. She changed paths from news to on-air talent in 1990 and moved to Michigan.
