Honolulu Radio: Larry Price Exits KSSK Morning Show

Larry Price
After 33 years, Larry Price is leaving KSSK 590 AM /92.3 FM’s top-rated “Perry and Price” morning radio show.

iHeartMedia Honolulu confirmed Price’s departure Wednesday.

Price will launch a new sports show later this month on sister station FOX Sports KIKI 990 AM with Rick Hamada, which will air Saturdays at 11 a.m.

“I decided the time is right and appropriate to make this change,” said Price. “I am grateful for the support of our loyal listeners and for all the great years on KSSK, and I am excited about the opportunity to talk sports with Rick on our new FOX Sports 990 station.”

“After 33 years of the early morning routine, Larry certainly deserves the opportunity to sleep a little more, and work a little less,” said longtime radio partner Michael W. Perry. “I look forward to talking story with him in our office every day, as always, and hearing him and ‘that other guy’ on our ‘Best of Saturday Morning’ shows!”

  1. The executive chef here was a genuinely nice person and never made us feel like we were just "business" for him. He was extremely competent and organized. Because of the natural beauty of the venues in Houston, we were able to get away with very minimal decorations.
