D/FW Radio: KVIL-FM Rebrands


CBS Radio's HotAC KVIL 103.7 FM has rebranded with less emphasis on its heritage call letters.

The station is now branding as "More Hits, Less Commercials 103.7" and it has extended the airshifts of on-site personalities.


The KVIL website indicates the morning show with Kannon & Sybil Summers has extended to 11AM.  Leigh Ann Adam moving from PM drive for 11am-4pm and Tanner Kloven to 6pm-midnight.

Edgar “Shoboy” Sotelo had been handling nights from sister Top40 WBMP 92.3 Amp New York has apparentely been dropped.

The station previously featured a very popular AC format for nearly forty years. However, as of May 2013, KVIL has leaned  to HotyAC with the recent format tweaking to a playlist that mainly focuses on 1990s.
