Bill Kelly
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed 35-year Youngstown market radio veteran Bill Kelly as Vice President/Market Manager for its eight-station cluster in Youngstown, OH.

His appointment is effective on October 3, 2016.

Kelly has a long career in Youngstown radio, starting with the original owners of WKBN-AM and helping to build the six-station iHeart Media cluster when it was first acquired by Jacor in 1997. He retired from iHeart Media in late February, where he was Regional President of a territory that included Youngstown, as well as Washington Court House in Ohio and three West Virginia markets.

Bob Walker, Senior Vice President, Cumulus Media, said: "We are fortunate to have a team in Youngstown that have been consistent winners for years. That reputation helped us attract a leader like Bill and we are eager to have him join our team in October to take us to new heights."

Kelly said: “After meeting with CEO Mary Berner and other senior leaders at Cumulus, I knew I had to take advantage of this opportunity. I can’t thank them enough. The Cumulus brands as well as the staff are well positioned. I look forward to helping them get to the next level.”

The cluster's stations are: Top40 WHOT 101.1 FM, CBS Sports Radio WLLF 96.7 FM WBBW 1240 AM, Country WQXK 105.1 FM, Classic Rock WYFM 102.9 FM, Alternative WWIZ 103.9 FM, N/T WPIC 790 AM (Sharon, PA) and N/T WSOM 600 AM (Salem, OH).
