NY Radio: Mark Bolger OUT At WCZX-FM

Mark Bolger
Longtime Hudson Valley radio personality Mark Bolger has signed off for the final time, after being let go by Poughkeepsie-based WCZX Mix 97.7 FM after nearly a decade at the station.

Bolger, a radio host at Mix 97.7 since 2011, has been let go, according to a dailyvoice.com report. His former co-host, Taylor Dickson, has now taken over the morning drive for Hudson Valley motorists.

Bolger was let go on Feb. 9, according to the report. Townsquare Media officials from the station declined to comment on why Bolger is no longer with Mix 97.7.

He’s been a fixture on Hudson Valley radio for decades, having served previous stints at other local station, including a 13-year run at WBWZ.

  1. 8-31 My family has listened to Mark Bolger since he first started in the Hudson Valley, NY. My young son, Sammy, was a particular fan of Mark's. He even sent SAm an autographed photo for Christmas--what a nice guy. Kids have grown & moved away, but we're all still die-hard fans of "The Bolge" . So sorry to hear that he was let go from his long-time gig at 97.7 FM. Our loss! Mark, you're tops with us !!
