NYC Radio: Mike Kaplan SVP/PD At Alternative WBMP


Entercom today announced Mike Kaplan as Senior Vice President, Programming and Program Director of WBMP ALT 92.3 FM in New York. In addition,  Christine Malovetz will join ALT 92.3 as midday host and will be on-air from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST weekdays, starting today.

Kaplan joins Entercom from IHeartMedia, where he was Program Director for ALT 98.7 (KYSR-FM) in Los Angeles. Prior to programming in Los Angeles, Kaplan was Program Director for Entercom’s alternative station 107.7 The End (KNDD-FM) in Seattle and 96.5 The Buzz (KRBZ-FM) in Kansas City.

Christine Malovetz was most recently host of middays and Assistant Program Director for KNOU-FM in St. Louis. Prior to KNOU-FM, she was at Q101 in Chicago, Y100 in Philadelphia, and 99.9 The Buzz in Burlington, VT, where she was known as ‘Electra.’
